While I think the Ultra Acts hold up great, they are stylized. The figuarts are more accurate to the suits, which is what I love.
That's why my favorite one is the Type A Ultraman SHF. He looks exactly like the shitty costume from the first batch of episodes, and I mean that in a good way.
The Ultra Act definitely has some more range of articulation, but the SHF definitely has all the range you need for Ultra Man, so really I would just worry about if you want something that's stylized or screen accurate.
