Great design for a figure but the plastic they used makes it hard to stand

I understand the soft plastic to prevent breakage and give the arms more movement than the joints allow
But they should use harder plastic on the legs

And I do recall the older version do have waist movement which is missing here

Having the droid in hand, I wish hasbro just go back and release all the super articulated clones and droids. The current TVC line is nothing compared to the old annual saga/legend series

Some of the Kenner vehicles molds were re-used for the early Hasbro/Kenner ships from 1995 to early 2000s.
The figures are at roughly the same scale.
The only issue may be the bulkiness of certain modern figures, as the Kenner figs were more simple in design.
In short, most figures could be used at a certain degree with the Kenner ships, but some would not fit due to design of the figs.

TVC have been getting worse and worse in the weathering department as of late. They used to all have a really nice weathered wash but then lately we've got really sterile looking stuff. Compare the skiff and Jabba's palace playsets to the Tantive IV and freezing chamber playsets, or compare the original release of the Mandalorian to the new armorer figure. The accessories on the new figures have zero wear wash on them at all and it looks again here like Booba's blaster is just flat matte plastic. He's also missing a lot of detail on the cloth parts of his outfit.

Yes, it was bad when it first released all those years ago and it's still bad today. It's so shit that the 5PoA Solo TIE Pilot is as close as we can get to a 'definitive' version of the figure in this scale, because at least that one looks accurate and isn't a horrible mess in 10 different ways. I'm generally pretty happy preferring 3.75" over 6", but in the case of the TIE Pilot the 6" fans won by an absurd margin, to the point that I might finally cave and buy the 6" Pilot even though I own almost no other 6" figures.

What should bother you more is the height of the clones figures, which should be the same size all over the lines, or the various Luke figures which are a mess.

We got quite a few figures in the glory days that could be easily repacked. Snow Bunny Padme, IG Lancer, flame thrower droid that was a BAF, Captain Fordo reissue!

As for new figures, we never got any Nelvaans. The male Nelvaan warrior, mutated Nelvaan, and female with huge tiki mask would be pretty cool.

The Fordo figure repainted blue with different weapons would be a sure fire hit.

I used to be like you, only collecting 6 inch figures. Then I bought a Vintage Collection Remnant trooper on a whim and found that it could hit more natural poses than any of my Black Series. Now I’m much more into 3.75 inch figures. There’s more character selection when it comes to Star Wars because of how long the toys have been around, and they’re easier to just fit in your pocket and fiddle around with every now and then. Black Series and other 6 inch lines have come a long way, I will admit, but 3.75 is just so much fun. If your primary concern is articulation, I’d suggest you check out Acid Rain figures. Some of the best toys I’ve ever played with and they look great.

The elbow joints on these two is just as good as a double jointed elbow, but it's rare to see that on hasbro figures. Marvel collectors have been wanting butterfly shoulders on a Daredevil for years now.

I'm pretty sure BS is just a simple peg ala ML hands so you might not even need any heat, just a good tug. Still, I'd blast the wrist with a hair dryer or some such first and then try and gently get it out. If you mean if the hands come out easily afterwards, the plastic should return to normal and not be any looser or tighter than before unless you purposefully do something to make it that way.

I like 3.75/ 1 1/8 but I buy an occasional 6 inch figure.
One of the reasons is availability as well.
There is no Rorschach, Question (and still no Question/Montoya ) Trench coat wearing Noir Spiderman , or John Constantine.
(might be a theme there) So I get em in 6 inch.
But in general Star Wars, Boss Fight, Acid Rain, G.I.Joe and Micronauts satisfy my needs (although I would like some "civilians" )
and so do Mega Construx (same gripe about civvies though)

A large problem with the Star Wars figures is the big lack of articulation of most figures HISTORICALLY. Hasbro has pumped out 5poa figures to Star Wars fans while Joes (which Hasbro hates) have generally been more pose-able.
I had original Star Wars figures and this was always a pain in the ass to me and I don't care if you "grew up with them." Retro Joes and Star Wars figures are not "nostalgic" to me.

My friend gave me this extra Galaxy of Adventures clone trooper he had today and damn what a great toy. Even the action feature doesn't really get in the way of articulation at all. Plus they just did the head as a helmet on a ball which is what the Black Series one should have had.

dude I still thank my lucky stars I found two. TWO Fordos in the wild. Gave one to a kid and told him to hold onto it because it's worth money. Should've seen his eyes light up with a mixture of greed and joy when I said it to his mom and she snatched it off the shelf and put it in the cart. Kind of regret not getting it for myself so I can stand both variants of his armor. Between that and Visla I think that I've been pretty lucky for a casual, casual collector.

Plenty of other kids toys tend to hover around the 5" scale. Plus if they made them the same size as the other figures, they would have less peg space for Black Series or TVC at retailers. These come in fairly small boxes and can be packed tightly on a shelf space
