So mold and crap exists, when you buy something used, or 2nd hand, how do you clean it off and disinfect it? Is there an easy way? I know soap and water is one thing but does that really kill mold? most stuff we buy on here are plastic figurines, so what do you use to disinfect them?

Second when you buy carded stuff that is new, is there a way to clean the box without fucking up the cardboard? Some stuff Ive gotten new in the box, but it looks like it could have been stored somewhere grimy.

it sucks when you get something with an intact box for a good price, but once you have it, you arent sure if the box is clean enough or not to trust in your house or collection.

i know this all sounds silly or stupid, but if you buy 20 different things from 20 different people, surely some of it has some gross shit on it you cant see with the naked eye. it goes double for those of you that do garage sales im sure.
