You can tighten a ball joint with super glue by disassembling the joint and thickening the parts with a thin layer of glue, but it's better to use Pledge as it won't risk bonding the parts together, you can leave all the parts together, and after application you can spread the polish everywhere simply by rotating the parts around. Plus you can remove Pledge with warm water and a rag.
