I do think a wash would have been nice, but as you can see in that pic there is quite a bit of drybrushing. It really is incredible how much paint the original had.

>>8799997It's a bit worse overall. Mostly the same, but single elbows that function like the wrists and ankles normally do, getting about exactly 90 degrees. Head can't move much because of all the sculpted detail back there. Shoulders move surprisingly well despite all the material there, but obviously less than a figure with no shoulder detail. The hips don't function quite as well as one would hope due to the skirt (they're also ball joints with an inner swiveling part). And finally the ankles are molded into the leg, so it can swivel up and down and rock, but movement is a bit limited due to the shape of it all. I didn't like him straight out of the box (talking about the Gold Label one) but I've grown to like it a bit more as I accepted its limitations.
At least the torso moves better than most of the recent figures that seem to have the forward motion completely blocked off.
