I don't collect them personally (never really played the games) but I got the blue Rathalos head trophy as an Xmas gift for somebody. They're pretty cool game prizes, especially for how much I paid for it (like 2500 yen).
I'd buy them all if I liked the franchise.

I like mine, but he's definitely more of a display figure than one you can really pose and play with. He's very front-heavy due to the wings, and a lot of posing with him ends up being a game of trying to balance him on his little chicken feet while using the wings to shift the center of mass. Despite that, it is a really cool figure, and it looks really nice.

It's one of the bandai hunting trophies. They're hard to find and can get pricey but they're really well made. There's versions for Zinogre, Rathalos, Lagiacrus and Brachydios

Finished my hunting team recently. Have the Rath and Zinogre creator model re-releases preordered too. Maybe should have just got the SH figurarts versions to match my narga but kinda prefer without articulation. Gonna need a bigger case eventually.

I keep hearing this but none of the ones Ive seen posted here have had any broken pieces including mine. Quality is on par with any other SH Monsterarts. All I ever see is people who don't own one telling those that do own one that it has QC issues.

I'd like to second this post. The rule of thumb seems to be to not stand rathalos on its legs without additional supports and nothing will go wrong. The instructions show how to set up the peg that supports its chest when in a standing pose. Just stick to that.
