I'm cautiously excited for a comeback. Ash seems to be making some cool figures again, so we'll see if he can keep it up, and moreover, if he can start making bots again. And I mean bots with limbs, I don't really count that unposeable Trackbot he just showed off. At least one good thing I can say is that the weathering on Trackbot looks great, arguably even better than the messy weathering at the tail end of ThreeA. Whoever his new factory is, seems like they're doing good work.

I'm new to DAMtoys as I only started buying once they started doing interesting figures like Mindgame and Death Gas Station. But judging from those, their quality is pretty amazing and I'd happily buy anything else creative they put out. Bring on more collabs!

You're not exactly wrong, but the thing is, the market still exists for it. It always did, in fact--most fans weren't really sick of his work, they just wanted more WWR bots and Adventure Kartel wackiness and weird moon vampire Evenfall stuff. But instead, all he gave us was foot fetish shit over and over, which is what really killed ThreeA.

I know I'm down to buy again if he takes it back to the glory days.

It's less a problem of aftermarket prices, than being able to find them at all. As a longtime gacha collector, a lot of them can be really difficult to even locate on the aftermarket once they sell out, and even when you can, it may be on obscure services that require middlemanning.

Agreed! The Strigoi was so exciting and unlike anything else he'd made. I was really invested in the idea of these astronauts becoming infected alien vampire creatures, and was ready for ThreeA to start cultivating this space horror series. And then...we didn't really get anything else, lol.

Same here. I'm glad he's still on the white-and-orange scheme, I missed out on all those bots in those colors he released when ThreeA was dying and now they are impossible to find on the aftermarket.

It's part of the Tsumugibako gacha set in OP post. It's not out yet, but pretty much all the preorders are closed already I think so you might have to just try your luck whenever they come out.

Also that's Underman. It was a clothing label collaboration.

Yeah, regrettably I never took photos of it. I kept meaning to do a "proper" DSLR photoshoot, so I never really snapped any casual phone pics of it or anything, and gradually I got too busy, and it got rotated out of my display and into storage. So...yeah. It's kinda dumb, but I don't have access to it right now and no photos of my own.
