Because if you're just playing with them by posing them around a lot, I've been having fun with some later (and, importantly, cheaper) figmas like Widowmaker and the bikini armor girl as long as you aren't hamhanding them.
Revoltechs, especially earlier mecha ones, are pretty good for play because they tend to be made of softer chunky pieces with heavy duty joints between them, and in the extreme occasion a joint breaks they are easy to replace.
Transformers can be satisfying to play with too, but they take a little bit of research because a franchise that varied is bound to have a lot of duds. But when they're good they are good, and being primarily designed for children puts them on the "bash together" end of the spectrum. To give a little bit of direction, my favorites as of late with a good mix of having a fun altmode and being a good figure are Reveal the Shield Turbo Tracks; Retro Headmaster or Titans Return Chromedome; and Earthrise or Kingdom Optimus Prime.
