IT's all the same shit. Even Mattel, who is by far the cheapest chinesish rip off merchant ever, is using the same technology.
It doesn't get any higher or lower resolution no matter who does it. It's a technology that hasn't changed since the 00s.

Neither McFarlane nor DCC have god-tier sculptors. DCC is a little better than McFarlane, but their talent seems to focus on getting comic styles down pat. Different sculptors are good at different things.
Anyway, these companies actually try and get the likeness of the actor down, unlike certain companies who just say fuck-it and uses the print as a substitute for a quality sculpt.
