McFarlane and later Jazwares (even more so, I would say, though I personally preferred the former for the most part) made Fortnite toys relevant, then Hasbro just takes the license away. Of course Hasbro also doesn't care about 4" anymore, so it's good that Jazwares get to keep that.
This deal probably explains McFarlane basically stopping all production outside of what was shown at that one convention, while Jazwares is riding out the last wave (metaphorical wave) McFarlane just said "fuck it and fuck you too" and went to work on other things.
Oh well, it was a good run by both, and it really does feel like the license got both companies to really step it up in terms of quality and articulation, so that will always be a positive of their time with the license.
