1. Poseability. Nendos aren't the most poseable figures out there, but they at least aren't statues, and they come with various limbs, faces, and accessories for varied photoshoots and play value. Funkos are forever stuck in one pose and look, which makes it hard to take too many engaging photos of them.
2. Looks. Nendos tend to be pretty visually appealing to most people, and a lot of people hate the Funko house style and those dead, buglike black eyes.
3. Reputation. Nendos are made by GSC, a well-respected company that strives to make quality products that will stand the test of time. Funko Pops are seen as hollow, soulless cash grabs due to how many esoteric licenses they snap up and how normie they feel. If someone drops $75 on a DX Nendo, you know they're probably in this game for keeps. Whereas someone that spends $10 on a Funko Pop for that quick geek cred on their shelf will probably not think twice about tossing it out once Pops go out of style or they lose enthusiasm for that show/game/movie.
