It works ok from what I've seen (probably on IG, can't find it now), but the DC1000 Batman is just on a lackluster body, so improving the head is fine, but the body is oddly done. If you want a classic Batman I'd just wait, it's bound to get made again at some point.

Seems like it, ya. Unlike with Batman Beyond, these are a straight re-release based on the pics. If they make the Batwoman blue for the general release that will some decision... These straight re-releases (also general release) are probably a better idea.

Snagged one of these with the 25% off promo fully intending to sell off Nightwing and while he’s not awful I think I’m still going to. I really hate Red Hood’s hands. Yes they look better as one piece but they articulate like garbage. I pulled them almost completely off the joint and they do articulate better but I may still cut them apart.

The only previous multiverse figure I'd bought was the first Arkham Batman so I'm kind of shocked how much better this figure is. I love the head sculpt and the articulation is pretty impressive. If we could get thigh swivels and alternate hands this line would be in great shape. I just it isn't too long before they get away from the comic event stuff.

Based on upcoming solicitations it seems like the Death Metal wave with Darkfather is the last event themed wave for the foreseeable future. The next assortment is a big amalgamation of characters from all over the place rather than focused on any one thing.

Finally took plunge into Mcfarlene DC with what looks like a better head sculpt on the Arkham Batman, then I picked up Azrael (my favorite so far) and just got Death Metal Batman because it’s the goofiest fucking thing ever and I love it. Now this is coming from a clear Batman Cuck, can we please get some more out there shit please? Also going a wave without Batman shit would be nice. Except for Killer Moth and Catman, gimme.

Will do. The only thing that bothers me is that it seems she has a keytar in the comic and other figures in the line have instruments, but her toy just has the saw. I wouldn't want to display a stupid fantasy keytar anyway, but I don't like that Todd is skimping on accessories. That said, I've never bought McFarlane stuff before unless they were the ones who did the Yellow Submarine figures ages ago, so for all I know this is normal for the company.

Watched the Snyder Cut yesterday. Goddamn I really enjoyed it. Way more than I thought I would aince I only was like wark on MoS and outright didn't like BvS and Wheadon League. I won't lie the McFarlane figures are tempting but the unmasked heads just look outright bad. Plus I'd feel obligated to hunt down that Target red and blue Superman. Maybe some import companies will rerelease their JL figures. I'd buy some from Mafex or Bandai. I guess these guys will have to do for now.

there was a predator on the ship in Predator 2 that had the mask from the first movie with the second movie's armor, mostly due to them being able to reproduce the armor easily since they still had the fresh molds from making the main suit. The only way the figure deviates from the one in the film is with the unmasked head and the sniper rifle, which are wholly original pieces.

The figures are bigger and have more parts (on the base figure itself) than most other figures at the same price point, so I assume it comes into play. It would be nice if they found a happy middle ground in order to at least get one extra pair of hands for most releases (on top of included accessories). Most Supermen have been coming with 2 fists and 2 open hands of some sort (well, Bizzaro, Infected, and DM), which is good, but this should extend to more characters as well.

They seem to be working in the extra hands when they have the parts made (Infected/Bizarro, Superman/Red Son). The parts library is still pretty small so far. The alternative is the halfassed extra hands Hasbro does, where they cast a bare hand in the glove color and apparently that's good enough.

Ehh, it would probably cost $40 as an ML but would also come with the character meant to ride it. So in the grand scheme of things it's just a little bit more expensive to get that bike and the Bats it's meant for than it was to get say Ghost Rider.

The Mcfarlane Batcycle is way above the quality of the ML Ghost Rider bike in sculpt and paint. Is super obvious side by side but I guess that justifies the higher price. Also GR overbite is unforgivable.

If you’re a fan of Morrison and all his wonderful and weird style, then definitely.

He wrote Flex early in his career, so the big ideas he presents aren’t as streamlined when compared to All Star Superman. But it’s still a very enjoyable and uplifting story.

Flex isn’t connected to All Star Supes directly, but you’ll definitely see a lot of aspects to Flex’s character were refined and helped to create the iconic version of Supes we see in All Star.

Also, Frank Quitely’s art is perfect.
