>>8864035>no source because I'm a giant liar just like 4H4H was the first one to ever say that 1:18 scale is almost as costly as 1:12.
No other person or company said it before them, so there was NEVER any discussion about their true costs until 4H dropped their greedy lie to justify the larger scale. It's only AFTER 4H said that discussion ever started, and it was ALWAYS questionable, because of existing companies and products not matching their bullshit claims.
I've been asking for collaborating statements from anyone else since 4H made their claim and it wasn't until like 3 years ago until someone said that Hasbro something about it and pointed to some youtube video who made no reference, but the guy totally said something off camera.
>>8864040I'm going to say that you're full of shit too, because you're trying to pretend you know anythinga bout these factories, to try and support another lie.
A factory's reputation (or quality, if you will) has more to do with how they often they fuck you over. Everything else is made to specifications of how the toy company wants their goods to be produced, and toy companies ensure this by visiting the factories themselves or/AND getting a trusted contractor to do that on a regular basis. In the end, toy companies still get their prototypes (tests) to ensure it's up to spec (COVID fucked this up, hence the delays for so many things).
A large company like Jazwares would never put up with a factory fucking them over and Jazwares is too large for a factory to fuck them over, because that's a super major contract. If there were any QC problems, it's because Jazwares allowed it by not putting enough money to fix those probs.
Also, I think Hasbro is worse than Jazwares (who owns WCT) in producing toys right now. Hasbro has become extremely rubbery and their paint apps are rather shit compared to the Fortnite and Halo figures. Jazwares has really stepped their game up and Hasbro is decreasing costs across the board, and it shows.
