>>8872644In the past I would have called you out for being a faggot and that apples and oranges aren't the same, but times have changed and as a collector of both I'll tell you why
>Past mp's evolved from being an expensive brick to something you could actual play with WHILE being a cool looking stylized robot>the focus started shifting towards cartoon accuracy>thanks to the INCONSISTENT character models and the fact somethings should NEVER be made 3d this made for very conflicting choices>literally hiding junk in the truck just so the front looks good>to make things worse they got an award for their engineering bullshitery which while it's amazing the pass produced figures as a result were both frustrating from a handling aspect and a durability aspectSure, I got a boner when I saw mp36 in hand, but once you transform him even with the uttermost care he got scratched like fuck, some sections felt so weak yet when they connected like the gunbarrel to make gun mode and then pulling it out again I needed the force to smash something to get it out, stronger paint isn't the answer it's more factoring that in or going without paint for fucks sake.
It's why despite somehow liking the new mp prime I stuck with mp10, it can't do half the shit it can but the truckmode isn't boring, and is rather neat all things considered design wise plus I can rip him out of storage and transform him without too much thought.
For mp36 I needed the god damn manual and least 3 reviewers going step by step both fucking ways, why 3, needed angles.
I swear once mp galavtron comes out I'm fucking out of mp's, sure a new leader galvatron is coming but I'd rather both.
>b-but 3pOh I know how good 3p is and I own a few, I have preferences
