I can understand the frustration with him though.
I'd say his design is more similar to Antroz, but the mask choices really killed him and Vican.
Not only does Mutran share the same exact mask with Chirox (which is bad enough), but even their Kra-Matoran do. And both are mad scientist characters.
I just don't understand, why a Shelek? Recolor a Jutlin, an Avsa, or even better one of the Kra-Matoran masks (they hadn't been canonized as Noble Kanohi yet at, that time). So each Phantoka Makuta wears a different mask.
I wouldn't remove his character though, I'm biased but I just like the guy too much. If anything I'd move him to Summer, so it's 4+4 Makuta, each team with its own scientist. Krika was the only remotely intelligent Makuta in the Swamp team, and a guy like Mutran would've been useful with his knowledge.
