>>8880521>>8882745It's just the easiest reaction. Instead of talking up what's being talked down to, it's easier to criticize a near competitor. It also elicits a stronger and more emotional answer by people. Another one is the guy who keeps bringing up NECA when McFarlane or other companies are criticized.
The problem is, talking up what's being talked down to doesn't always work, especially on this site where a proper discussion with opposing sides is nigh impossible to have. It isn't often there is a discussion here where one person backs down from their position, even if one person is clearly right. People are too stubborn, and with their anonymity they can say anything. I say that but people with their names can still be inane.
So instead of having a discussions like "cohesive point 1, point 2, point 3", vs "no u retodd McFartland sucks", or "constructive criticism 1, 2" vs "fuck off mcfarlane is better than neca", or even just no response at all because people here don't tend to be here to discuss things but to bitch about them, people just cut out that part of the discussion then go for the quick and dirty response that almost always gets responses, even if that discussion is pointless and repetitive.
