yeah i did.
mostly getting anything Space related (so far from CMFs)

the vidiyo figures were just for laughs (though i did wanted the Banshee so i got her)

emmet came from a polybag and those are the only overwatch figures i'll ever get (this was before i ditched playing it)

The whole reason for building it was to carry a series of six-wide military drones I'd put together years ago, the original Creator plane was four-wide and the resulting build isn't a whole lot longer than it, thus the blockiness. I might try and lengthen it sometime, it can carry three of the drones at once but a fourth would be even better eh.

Other anon beat me to it. Started this army years ago, every now and then I'll add one or two more members with the stipulation that arms and helmets be unique to each soldiers. Kind of running low on possible helmets for more solders, think I have enough anyway by now heh.

Thanks, they were born out of the idea of building an armored vehicle from the local Lego store's PaB wall parts; about 95% of the parts used originated there. Came up with ten variants, could probably think up some more but I'm satisfied with the fleet.

By all means, aren't many options to use that kind of banner heh. Haven't built them anything yet but I have one of those oversized shields with the scorpion print sitting around for whenever I get some inspiration, perhaps a siege machine. Found a pic of the army from 2014 when I started it, they've come a long way.

Built the speed champions lamborghini huracan and I wouldn't recommend it to anybody. Many flimsy connections using clips, lots of stickers, priority on looks over structural integrity and it doesn't even look that good compared to the ferrari tributo. Probably gonna order parts to build the ferrari tributo in black now.

A lot of sets with play functions are actually pretty fragile these days, old bricks and pieces could withstand a lot more rough play but lately even the builds are a pain to hold and move without some accessory or small decorative piece flying off. The designers seem more focused on making things look pretty for display functions.

You get to use loads of weaponry in Lego city undercover including grappling guns, laser stun guns,crowbars, beating down enemies and blowing stuff up with dynamite (would recommend playing btw), game is rated 7+ so I think this is likely just more pandering to the perpetually offended.

Avengers tower - no playable space, to tall to fit in detolf or ANY of my shelves, not enough space for all the minifigs included
Avengers truck takedown - play function hardly works, doesn’t close up properly, small bits constantly falling off
Hall of armor & armory - cool display piece but just annoyed me so much, was not fun to mess around with and included too many tiny accessories with no place to put them. The mechs are cool tho.

I have the Enlighten version of this set, theirs has an illegal connection in the radar tower build for some reason. Must say the car looks better without a transparent windscreen, but Enlighten's riot police are superior.

Those are fake lego from ali, 2 series of 8 each, 16 total. 14 are cool historical samurai, 2 are fake brickarms samurai, one gold, one silver.

It's basically just the Haunted House and Parisian Restaurant with the same color scheme of olive bricks and brown windows. Lots of Grey filler and black bricks for the walls between the elevator shafts.

Books are decent but a bit more simplistic as they're aimed at children. Neat stuff for ideas. Just a heads up that 24 and 25 are just pictures of minifigures with bios and it's just excerpts from the Meet the Minifigures book (the one with the zombie skateboarder).

had the torso and legs when i ordered the parts for lt jack before, so i ordered the arms now.
right arms a little bit loose though.

got a few more parts and started building Z-bomber's mini bombs (it's a start)

and Spyrius tile print is Kino and Soul.

There is a feminist movement happening worldwide atm after that woman was killed by the police officer.
A soccer mom could perceive this set negatively by accusing Lego of teaching her son about bomb factories and killing police officers.

Right now, in this current time, it doesn't look good if it's looked at in that way, we enjoy it as a set, parts, minifigs. If you look at it from a feminist mothers POV, you're teaching her son negative things, terrorism, murder, violence.

Same, my parents never bought me a miner set or even a castle set no matter how good my grades were and how much I begged that I don't want anything else for the next 4 christmas.

I feel like original lego themes started to fail when they stopped using these big one piece plates for bases. All lego "bases" look just... boring and small without it. Anon said they stopped producing it because they were too fragile and problematic to pack.

Raised baseplates were one unfortunate victim of the cutbacks. If you haven't read up on the history of Lego from 1990-2005, it's worth checking out. They were running the company completely backwards, selling sets for less than it cost to make, just absolutely throwing money into a hole and they didn't even know because nobody was watching the books.
