Their popularity largely comes from being part of Super Mario 3 and World and even then, merch of them is almost non-existent and it's taking forever and then some to get them made by Jakks (and their releases have been fucked up due to inconsistent scale issues, where they've released certain Kooplings only in 2 inch scale while others in five inch scale.
