Punch/Counterpunch never showed up in a Marvel universe aside from Regeneration One, so he was handy as a narrator, as well as one who'd be privy to both factions' shenanigans. It takes place in the Marvel US (run monthly) universe but makes a lot of references to Marvel UK (run weekly, adding stories between the US issues) concepts and ideas. I'd encourage anyone to read UK though, you get a lot more stuff.

This Mega has a lot of neat stuff, including Marvel, DW, but only most of IDW. One-shots like this are part of Mosaic, sometimes helped by official writers or artists, you can usually find them in uh, the artistic place with deviants.. Someone in IDW wanted to do a Punch/Counterpunch spotlight but it never went through I think.
