>>8895941So I see the CE Bug Corps for $210, which I suppose is just what they'd have to be. I got my set from BBTS about 4 years ago for $140, and am quite pleased with them for that price. Basically my one gripe is that after transforming Claymore (Shrapnel) his first time, his forearm covers / panels gave up on wanting to stay shut.
But I love their colors, because my personal Insecticon nostalgia is to the toys and not the cartoon. Though that's something I basically could say about anything in my collection that's something I actually owned as a kid. Beyond knowing about (but never owning) Devastator, the concept of combiners themselves was entirely unknown to me. I remember owning Hotspot and Nosecone, and my younger brother had Cutthroat, but never knew what they were actually intended to do -- they were just normal, basic dudes to us.
I only ever remember watching a handful of season 1 (and maaaaaaybe season 2) episodes that my mom had recorded to VHS. I would have been two at the time it started to air, and my older brother would be a bit shy of turning 5.
