does the series have bad art, or is the company who is making the figure have bad artists?

I'm thinking of buying it without knowing anything about Monster Hunter, because i like 1:18 scale and i need more dark ages looking shit.

It's Capcom, so it's got decent art, it's just a lot of the armor designs have a lot of shit going on that is difficult to translate into plastic well.

Nah the artstyle is the weakest point of the series. Not a single game looks good and the character designs are retarded

I'd only tolerate it if they scale with the monsterarts or their own unannounced monster line.

It might be a swappable wing setup similar to the SHMonsterarts. the last joint in the arms might be able to pop off letting you put on a more folded and posable wing sculpt in it's place
