>>8912824I think it's because a lot of what they make is the only product of its kind on the market. 7" Marvel or Star Wars (probably their 2 consistently good releases, even though SW only has 2 figures), Iron Giant, Muppets, LOTR... Gentle Giant makes some solid sculpts, but then the way the articulation is almost always hampered... it must be that whoever is in charge of it just doesn't get why people want articulated figures. I'd say it might be the licensor being difficult with maintaining the sculpt, but it's almost consistently bad in some way or another.
