I've had some pretty good luck with bootlegs so I ordered a shadow guard, coryscant gaurd, FO praetorian and 2 phase 1 clones from Ali express. The photos from Ali showed they were the new body clones but I'm thinking I might be getting the old body ones. Has anyone gotten bootlegs of the new bodies for clones or Stormtrooper yet?

black series sucks and they don't feel any where near as fun as the 3.75 figures
Anonymous
>>8911987 Pretty much this. Having taken a hiatus from collecting before everything went to shit, I was surprised when I got back to the game to discover how crazy people were and are about the 6" line. Personally I'm surprised that it didn't flop like so many other "alternative scale" lines.
Anyway, I was curious but not that curious, until I saw some BS figures getting clearanced. Grabbed a few, unboxed one and while said figure is nice, I'm 100% sure the 3.75" version is nicer. Like, they're cool, alright, and have a lot of articulation, but at the end of the day they're still too big, too bulky and there isn't that much that they can interact with. Just look at how many vehicles exist as 6" and then compare with the 3.75" selection, and do note that 3.75" vehicle selection isn't anything like what it once was.
Pic related: the 3.75" version of one of the figures I got.

I'm late to the Mandalorian party and want a beskar Mando. Do I pay late tax on SHF or late tax on the Black Series? Or should I wait and see if Mafex comes back into stock once it's released?

PS Vita Guy
>>8913617 >>8913648 I looked the character up. I literally googled “Star Wars background character in spacesuit”, found some images of him, then found his name.
Apparently his name is “Rum Sleg”. He had a toy made of him in 2009, andthe toy is actually pretty cool! He has some cool accessories, and his helmet his removable. Apparently his skull-like face is actually some kind of ornamental faceplate/mask he wears under his helmet. The faceplate isn’t removable, so his true face remains a mystery.

They were cheap, small, and plentiful. 6" has been nice for the past 6-7 years since I've switched, but it's kinda given me an autistic obsession with articulation. I didn't mind the T crotches too much back then, but nowadays, I don't even consider buying a figure if it doesn't have ankle rockers.
Anonymous
>>8916038 Is the reason why their mustaches are so “petite” (sort of like a teenager who first hit puberty) because of their genes, or because they groom them that way?
Anonymous

>>8916149 yeah, they grow fuzzy shit like an arab woman because of their genes.
As for grooming, as far as i know, native americans only liked thick legs and sloped heads. But since they mostly molded that using boards and cords, they're only as successful as South Koreans in becoming pretty, since plastic surgery allows uglies to breed.

>>8918889 >>8918956 I get the argument that since the TBS 3.75 re-release of Ackbar that pegwarmed hard was Walmart exclusive, that there were markets that never got him. The problem with that is that back when he was first issued in a wide TVC release in like 2011, he was also a pegwarmer. There aren't a lot of people left who still need this Ackbar, so re-releasing it when there's a ton of other figures that could be re-released that didn't pegwarm or saw such poor distribution that nobody saw them. It's even more insulting that they're putting several of those figures that people have been begging for up to a vote, but an Ackbar re-release nobody is asking for takes a slot.

You could set up alot of future stories with Krrstan too, since he's effectively the boba fett of wookies. It'd be neat to see Mando compete with him over a bounty, or alternatively, have to team up with him to take down Bossk and a hive of other trandoshans. It's not something I've seen get much lip service, but I like the idea of Jabba's death leaving a massive power vacuum in the galaxy's criminal underbelly. I could see everyone from Boba to Bossk and Dengar rushing to take advantage of that. Maybe the boba series will follow that premise.

>>8920681 Yea I'm kinda hoping that's what BoB is about. I also think they could have sworn characters show up on a prequel comic about Mando. Anonymous
>>8920702 >>8920716 Yeah I had the same take on Din and his clan. I effectively see Din's clan as mando-amish folk. It was a very smart move on filoni's part to do this as it brings a certain freshness to Din's character. Not knowing shit about the greater universe around him and turning him into a bounty hunting ubereats driver of sorts makes Din kind of relatable in a roundabout way.

I think Dengar is really overdue some screentime, as I cant even recall him showing up in clone wars much and I really like him in alot of EU shit. The idea that he's effectively a cross between mean machine and dirty harry makes him both very menacing and equal parts interesting. You could get alot of people interested in him if you outright referenced his story from tales of the bounty hunters.

>>8920744 Before meeting grogu and cara, I dont seen din as being particularly sociable. He probably stuck close to his clan most of the time prior to taking up bounty hunting. As for Dengar, you cant be serious that's meant to be him. TROS is such a cluster fuck Im inclined to believe you.

>>8920687 but Jango Fett was a named character that was re-released with a new coat of pain. It's just kind of baffling that we need to vote for Starkiller when the Gaming Greats TVC line has a figure of a Shadow Trooper from TFU even though it probably didn't appear in the second game (never played it passed Kamino).
