Are the new Micro Machines any good? I saw some of the stuff that premiered last year and they're nothing like what I remembered--garish bright colors, cheap untextured plastic, etc.

The old Micro Machines under Galoob had little mini play-sets with details (including some IRL brands) that you could connect together with plastic pieces. They even had a little Micro Machines train set.
