It looks good... needs black trim around the windows/shield and the Jurassic Park writing on the doors needs to be fixed. The logo on the front is a little small but for the most part it looks way better than the disaster that was jeep 12. Tim looks okay.

It's the first standard "Extreme Chompin" style rex that we've gotten that has a articulated mouth without a gimmick so that's nice. Tempted to return the Extreme Damage one I bought yesterday after seeing all of this.

I agree too. They have released like three rexes plus repaints I believe everyone that wanted one got one or can get one very cheap. If anything they should have included a goat or a sick trike laying on her side or Gennaro with dismemberment feature.

I've never been able to find a large rex that gave me what I want. I don't understand why they can make the brontosaurus movie accurate but they always fuck up on the Rex. The new one that comes with the explorer looks good but its also probably going to be barely bigger than my Papo one.

Last week or so, I was at 2 different Targets; one had Echo for $25 and Delta for $15, while the other had Echo for $15 and Delta for $25. Both stores had about the same ratios of Echos to Deltas, so the price wasn't based off how much of each figure they had.

SUPPOSEDLY the movie is going to feature a new company (possibly Biosyn) creating their own dinosaurs that are more scientifically accurate than InGens. Giganatosaurus, Deinychus, Pyroraptor, and Dimetrodon are all supposed to be the new more scientifically accurate ones.

There has been some leaks involving them, but nothing concrete. One was cartoony toys of the giga and dimetrodon, the other was fan art drawn by someone who supposedly saw the real thing. I'll post those

I went to target yesterday, and the pricing was all over the place. They had like 30 echo’s, and a few tiger raptors which didn’t look like they were marked down at all. The echo tags said sale price for 25. One specifically had a clearance sticker on the box for 20. There were some empty pegs for delta I think at 20. Actual leaker here, these are all completely fake, none of the dinos in the movie look like that. Pyroraptor came close but that's just because the leaker used the toy as reference. They also used the Giga toy as reference but that didnt help because the final Giga does not look like the leaked plush.

I'm curious to know what's going on with deinonychus. The movie's raptors are already basically deinonychus since that's what Crichton intended but used an outdated name for them, so the movie deinonychus looking like the raptors makes logical sense but why bother introducing it at all if it's just going to look like a raptor? That art basically makes it a raptor with a slightly bigger head so I'm curious to know what the actual dino is going to look like.

I hope it looks as good and legit as the Allosaurus Animatronic from Battle at Big Rock. Still disappointed it was changed because they wanted it to look like and share more features with the newer Allos species A.jimmandis for some annoying reason scientific accuracy matters in this on instance for some reason Jurassic fans could not give a damn about but hey this one Allosaurus has to look just like this because Science? Since when did JP/JW give a crap about that now? I dunno, seems rather proportional to me. I used to live in Atlanta, GA and saw the Fernbank Museum’s replica Giga skeleton and the jaw seems to be the right length compared to the person right under the teeth. I think the thick neck just makes it look smaller.

Either way, I’m loving this and look forward to getting the Super Colossal Giga when it comes out.

Nobody knows. At this point they will stick to the current scale of Amber figures.

Rubber figures is unknown as well. There is a mosasaurus repaint announced that's a bit darker, sports a play feature and is made of recycled ocean plastic (for real).

Since the Carno in the picture looks like the Fallen Kingdom one, I’m guessing that means there was originally going to be a larger scale triceratops. Huge shame too because there hasn’t been a larger trike figure in a jp line in a long time

Dang, the concept leak ended up being the final look for the Giga. I'm still indifferent to it's depiction; it could have been Baryonyx levels of bad but thankfully it's just been kaiju-ized like BABR Allo. Now the only question left about it is whether or no it's an InGen dinosaur or a BioSyn one.
