Now that it's over, what were the best toys?

Do you think they will make figures for season 4? I hope we get anything at this point.

On one hand, it feels like at the very minimum a figma of post-basement Eren would be essential, but on the other hand it's such a boring version of the character that I can't even think of any good accessories he could have. Hell, I'd rather take Zeke at this point. AoT hasn't been fun ever since it showed what was outside the walls, some of the titan designs from that latter part were cool and maybe they should get figures but by that time I stopped being invested enough to care.

The guy that's the rep for Bandai's anime heroes line basically said the series wasn't very toyetic. If you read between the lines he said series where characters are dressed the same wouldn't be very appealing to do. Looks like they're not getting anything on that front.

They should just make scaled figures of the different titans and include little micro figures of the people to place on and around them. Years ago McFarlane made a dragon figure from the Beowulf movie that had a micro Beowulf figurine attacked to a bendy wire that was supposed to be a rope he was hanging on to. They could totally do something similar with the Titan hunters and their ropes.

Yea I remember that thread. Seems like those were just random logos including stuff from like Dragonball which has its own toy line. I'd assume Black Clover or Demon Slayer are next on the list based on what was said more recently.

Feels weird to hear that when the jacket and its logo alone were gangbusters sale-wise when the series got it's first anime season. Back in that day you could sell all kinds of garbage, so long as you used those two... or hell even just the logo.
Well, either way, we're past that profitability point.

Like others have said, I think the Figmas are it. Maybe the RAHs if you are into 1/6.

It's bitter sweet. It's a nice gang and now I know this will mostly likely be it i'll be able to plan a nice display for them to celebrate a classic.

Still, it would have been nice to maybe have gotten Hange and Jean.

Maybe a year ago I'd say the ending was not good, but after seeing how Beastars ended I'm just grateful AoT's ending didn't end up as the same kind of dumpster fire. Clearly the publishers pulled the plug on both of them too early, they were bound to have rushed disappointing endings but at least Isayama handled his wrapup way more gracefully.
