Heres some options:

Bandai model kits: they have all the original trilogy ships but only the tie fighters look good with just a wash. Still fun.

Gundam: basically star wars but with robots. You might want an army of gm's or zakus. That definately helped me get out of star wars after disney ruined it. Still a model kit, but they aren't complicated.

The only thing wrong with the Prequels is bad dialog and direction. The Sequels have bad dialog and direction, but also have a shit setting, shit plots, shit characters, and are utterly creatively bankrupt to the point of raiding the old EU's dumpster for all it's worst hits.

The Prequels are 'the good ones' now. Frankly I'm just afraid of what the next set of movies will be like.

Don't get the pocket scale ones, go for a more expensive better looking one in the premium lines of either 6 or 12 inch, preferably a commander you like rather than a rank and file.

I think bandai did one, not sure if mafex did, I don't know if the black series clone troopers are worth getting I think they're dated, also the hot toys clone troopers or sideshow clone troopers are pretty nice.

Pics like this trigger Hasbro, fortnite, and mcfarlane fans. The ammount of sculpting in these kits is incredible. Unless a kit is canonically related to another kit, there is never re-use. A minimial ammount of paint and top coat can turn a 15$ kit to a figure that can rival figuarts.

A week, an airbrush and a 100$ mg can easily beat a hot toys figure.
