i preordered the xplus releases, including the deforeals, just happy to be getting any high quality harryhausen merch in 2021, but i agree that i'd kill for a monsterarts-quality articulated line. i think it's my #1 most wanted articulated figure series

After that neca kong came out I sincerely hope they pick up some harryhausen licenses. Considering they lost Goji, it would be a long overdue alternative to Toho monsters. Though I suspect they nabbed the universal and hammer licenses to make up for their goji loss.

Rebor made their totally seamless articulated snake figure and it is the coolest toy I own. They should be making entire lines of stop motion dinosaurs and harryhousen creatures. However instead they were like "we lost money on this so we're not making more, we only sold it for $35 because we originally thought that's what it should cost, now continue buying our statues"

Revoltech made a Jason and the Argonauts skeleton about a decade ago. Despite it's age, it's still a very well made figure. If you can get one for around $50 or under I'd say he's worth it.

Note there were 2 versions released; The first one had Ymir and octopus shields, while the 2nd run which seems to have had larger production numbers had skull medusa and a Fu Dog looking thing on the shields. The head of the skeleton coming out of the ground has a jointed jaw, and a larger hole that can be put on the bigger Revo joints.

I disagree.
I don't really have any opinions other than releasing non-articulated shit really does a disservice to his creations.
I suspect a Talos Golem (with little unsearchable plug in the back of the foot) done as an internally jointed figure would be way out of my price range so I'm pretty quiet.
Hell, on an unrelated note. I would love an affordable 6 inch Creature from the Back Lagoon (or properly scaled figure larger than the "average" ) to menace my 1` 1/18 Boss fight figures.
