This. Apart from some of the initial fearmongering back in 2020 for a few months I've been buying stuff mostly the same as it ever was. Sucks that SAL had to bite the dust but airmail isn't too bad I suppose. Don't need to rely on EMS or DHL either.

Heh, I was looking at getting something on TOM and they wanted nearly $65 for FedEx. As to OP, the only thing that changed was that the economical "fast" shipping methods went away.

Guess there's an actual exception, though the Japan Post website doesn't mention it. Shame domestic shipping is so expensive that it's not worth the costs to get a forwarder.

I'm jealous, though Surface time frames aren't as bad anymore. Got my package in two months instead of the three months like my first package into Ontario.
