>>8963364The thing is I DON'T want to limit myself to a single thing. I like G1, I'm just bored as fuck of getting solely G1 and Movieverse stuff for years on end that I want some goddamn variety in releases. Kingdom's great in that regard, even if the Beast Wars cast isn't entirely my thing. Take a look at Thrilling 30, you had a good selection of G1 stuff with Springer, Skids, stealth bomber Megatron, Nightbeat, and even some late-G1 stuff in Scoop, but you also had
>G2 representation (Dreadwing & Jhiaxus)>Beast Wars representation (Waspinator, Rat-Trap, & Rhinox)>Beast Machines representation (Tankor)>Robots in Disguise representation (Sky-Byte)>Armada representation (Starscream and that minicon trio)Even if it's just a few figures from a non-G1 series, that's still way more fresh than yet another Generations line of just the same G1 shit we got 1-5 years ago.
To lean back on that Hasbro complaint, if the Marvel Legends team can make figures of C-lister characters like Darkstar, The Hood, Mr. Hyde, Frog-Man, Phage, Shiklah, Wild Child, White Rabbit, or Nimrod, then they can definitely explore more realms within The Transformers' mythos than just the Sunbow cartoon.
