- Neca didn't have the Godzilla master license, since this requires a low-budget/kid line.
- Playmates has the Master License for GvK, not Godzilla in general.
- This means that they get to decide/negotiate who can produce Godzilla related content (outside Japan) while GvK is considered "ongoing".
- Terms of the contract seem to imply that as long as Playmates is producing GvK-related content, it is considered "active".
- Playmates asked for a ridiculous amount of money to allow Neca to produce Godzilla during that time. Hints that it was mostly due to the TMNT-issue creating bad blood between them.
