They stopped making gi joes and pokemon cards and everything on e-commerce sites is counterfeit. Hasbros is crap. Or do you collect idols ?

You can always import and pray that custom boomers don't charge extra for it. Marvel Legends are the most accessible here. Nip products are a pain to find. What lines do you guys want to collect?

Also it is going to be expensive af and a pain to find figures. You'd almost always have to import or buy from other collectors. We are a third world shithole so nothing much you can do about it. I'd typically get my stuff when my relatives would visit from USA. You are gonna have to be patient

Not saying there aren't any but it won't sell as much. You can't trademark a god if they are still actively worshipped. Pic related are traditional toys made out of wood. These are handcrafted and are pretty cheap.

Pokémon you got the moncolle line in India. 200-350 per piece way cheaper than the west. Try Wizplex, they have the official license for India. Pic related some of my collection. Still setting it up so looks empty. I mostly collect Gijoes, Pokémon, Mythical Legions, Monster arts/Kaiju, weeb stuff and anything else that catches my fancy.

Plushes however do very well. They are seen as toys for infants and don't hold the same stigma as an action figure would. While there is a huge demand for toys in India, it isn't as big as west or Japan. Especially for local myths and legends. If someone would make stylized figs of historical people, it would do really well imo. We have a ton of history and nobody truly exploits it.

You need to do that in India. It's very dusty here. I live in an area with a ton of trees but there is still a lot of dust. I have another cabinet that I'll get dust seals for.
