I do. more happy about him and emil than the yorhas, but he's just as limited if not more when it comes to articulation. he was expensive as hell to begin with, there's no way he's worth the aftermarket price. pretty sure we'll get a rerelease or an upgrade, I'd just wait and hope. like I'm hoping for a fucking phoenix sword

Got him and his leg was broken out the box. I would have returned, but Amazon didn't have anymore stock, so I just kind of had to deal with it. Looks good on a stand I guess.

I own all the Bring Arts Nier stuff, and they're decent, but too expensive for what they are. Emil is the best one I've handled.

Overall is good figure. Solid mold. Not too fragile unlike androids. I don't really like his stupid face though.
But 2.0 is never ever. Nier and Emil two-pack was shelfwarmed way too hard.

been out for a few months. I'm assuming a 2.0 is likely because:
1. they changed the ingame model for the remake
2. it's not exactly a stellar release
3. 2b got a 2.0 announced before her first fig even hit the shelves so it's "not too soon"
but even if they don't do it, it'd be stupid to not rerelease it with the game out now,

this. the sculpts are doughy, the likeness is poor, the airbrushing is usually too heavy, they andn usually have gross yellow ish skin. just like play arts and play arts kai. i hate the fact that every IP owned by square enix will always get this garbage before being allowed to have any other figure, if it gets anything else at all.

Angelus would be weird, but with the FF summons and stuff like that getting Bring Arts figures it would be more surprising because of the fact she's from Drakengard than it would be that she's a dragon. This series has too much potential for figures, I'd love an Accord too. I want Papa Nier most, so I'm hoping they go through with the alleged Replicant ver 1.22 DLC of him that they mentioned a while back since I think that would make him relevant enough to get a figure.

When has Taro ever acted like that? All those articles saying "Papa Nier fans should just give up" were horribly clickbaity, he only said it because he didn't think Replicant ver 1.22 would sell well. I doubt he hates Papa Nier all that much considering interviews with him about Drakengard have him claiming to hate brother/sister tropes

Plus there's the fact that when you play as Papa Nier in the remake's diary section, when you exit the mode, brother Nier and Weiss talk about how being Papa Nier was a nightmare or horrible dream or something.

Are the Bring Arts figures listed on ebay for sensible prices from China actually KOs? I know 2B got a KO because of her popularity, but I find it hard to believe that it was profitable to KO shit like Erik.

I didn't really interpret it that way, though I can see why you did. I don't think they'd even include Papa Nier let alone bring back his voice actor if they hated him that much. Plus they mentioned making him DLC if the game sold well enough

I get having Kusanagi be the weapon he comes with, but a spear like Transience or the Phoenix Spear would have been so much cooler. His spear combat stance is so sick.

If they do get around to a 2.0, I really hope they add more weapons.

Do we have any idea how Replicant has sold? Are people as into it as they were into Automata?

They did make that weapons pack, but the only spear it came with was the Machine Spear which doesn't really fit anyone that isn't an Automata character. I know Replicant is selling pretty decently, but I haven't been able to find anything concrete. I'm hoping we'll get close enough to get that Papa Nier DLC they mentioned

I've got the first 2B (not the 1.5) and then I've got Kaine, Nier, and Emil. All three of them are better figures than the original 2B was. They aren't perfect, but they're definitely passable in my opinion.
