amiibos dont even articulate once, worst of all they consist of characters that really NEED it. What makes them further true statues is not just the glued base, and often-times the translucent stand that holds them up, but their digital souls housed in add zero play value into the play value they have none of in the first place. I could also talk the same shit about Totaku, but their presence is niche and aren't made anymore, and i consider that humbling.
