Should I hold off on a figma link? I want a Link for my shelf but of these three, LTTP is the only game I love and im more an adult link kinda guy

Ive actually never played that one. I havent had a nintendo console since the wii but recently have been enjoying the switch and rediscovering metroid and zelda

My conspiracy is that well be getting announcements for a legacy port of Ocarina / Majora to Switch soon, and an Ocarina Link figma will follow. Its probably the most well known incarnation of link so it seems obvious hell get a figma eventually, but who knows, theyre an odd company.

If i had metroid and zelda I would be milking those cash cows fucking dry

Why wait? They arent getting cheaper. Some one on BST was selling a standaed lbw link for 30 or 40. Which is about the going rate now since as I said they arent getting cheaper. Ss links probably going to be the easiest to find cheap since people didn't like him as much. Tp link being the one that's going to cost the dollars... he may be a littl cheaper now since he recently re released so you may even find a 3rd party site selling him close to cost.

I have all 3 and I think they are great figures. I bought a lotr horse as a epona stand in and my ss link looks great on him. Still haven't opened my tp link and zelda. But they look great in the package, probably wait till.my figma horse gets here and see if it beats the lotr horse as a epona stand in.

Majoras Mask for sure, ideally a deluxe version would come with 2 swords (kokiri and gilded) 2 shields (heroes shield and mirror), the deku/goron/zora transformation masks, majoras mask (because they probably wont make Skull Kid), Tatl and because it's GSC there would be a GSC store bonus Keaton Mask as a Hyrule Warriors reference.

SS Link doesn’t have the best range of motion but looks the best in a neutral pose and has the best seat on the Figma horse. His sword is super thin and besides the constant fear of breaking it the pummel on the end is begging to be lost.

TP Link is overall great but funny looking at angles. The shoulders move out so you can double hand the sword but the joints are exposed. He’s so thin that turning him at the waist looks awful and his pecs look like A cups. He comes with a bow though so that’s nice and his sword is thicker and sturdier than the SS one.

I’ve taken SS Link on the most adventures but to be completely honest I’m super over Figma until the give me a BOW Link. How they put out a Nendoroid but not a Figma is beyond me

As for as Zelda herself goes the TP one looks nice and all but that dress is stiff so she’s basically a statue with articulated arms. Hopefully we get BOW Zelda at some point

Really hoping we get a Link and Zelda for BOTW2. I'm rationalizing that's why they didn't throw out a BOTW Link already, so they could just release both of them around the time the new game launches.

A Link figure based on the new game would make me nut since he seems to be wearing a combination of the Champion and Hylian tunics. And the Hylian tunic+hood was my preferred outfit for most of the game.

That is the biggest issue with Zelda, her dress makes her hard to make unless she has a cloth dress.
Maybe if the dress had articulation cuts in it, but obviously that might not be ideal if its done shittily.
So BotW Zelda would probably happen before any other Zelda in a dress.
Sad. I want an OoT Zelda. But I like BotW zelda so its okay. But. I dont want BotW Link, at least, not before OoT adult Link.

I used to headswap her with Casca. That hard shell dress she’s in becomes twice as offensive when you consider that she has legs with standard Figma articulation under there.

The Figma horse is undersized as it is so with TP Link being taller he looks kinda stupid on it, like he’s on a pony rather than a horse. I’d hide this by shooting at a lower angle and/or rearing it up. There’s a 2.0 Figma horse coming up that I’m hoping is taller

Especially when you think about how many they would sell so people could swap the legs and torsos around bro mix and match armor sets. Heck even making a "naked" Link mold, they could reuse it with overlays to make Barbarian, Gerudo, and Voe sets.

I meant the horse I bought for a epona stand in. It's toy biz's lotr brego and aragorn set. Also aragorn's elven cloak looks great on link. I got luck and found the last one some one was selling on ebay for 30 bucks but right now that set goes for easily twice that on ebay.
