but doing two parts of a toy in different colors that meet up along an imaginary seam line that only exists as the result of how it's manufactured, and not due to anything in-universe, is about as smart as painting the underside of a dinosaur's jaw in a darker color than the upper part.
i THINK the idea was supposed to be that the uppermost dark area represents the typical dark-on-light pattern of.. basically any animal's coat that tries to break up its silhouette, while the bottom dark brown areas are the featherless parts.
EXCEPT THE WHOLE THING HAS SCULPTED SCALE TEXTURE.. and you would expect the entire muzzle to be featherless. and you didn't do the pattern right except on the upper arms and the collar area, everything else looks completely wrong. and the two dark colors (if they even are separate) look way too similar.
