I love statues, but then I saw what it's like for a 3D modeler to have to break the sculpt down and engineer the joints so it not only looks good, but works well mechanically. An absolute nightmare and I have the utmost respect for the process.
You do need some engineering skills for cutting up statues as well, knowing where to put keys and separate parts, but it's nothing like making a figure.
At the end of the day, they're all worthy of respect. Before the joints or cuts are added, it's all the same beautiful shit. Some pieces I want to interact with and move. Others I'd rather put up and just bask in their glory. Fracturing the community over articulation is kindergarten crap. Collect what you like, kings.
