I'm not sure what you mean by diversifying, you'll have to elaborate on that. I do sometimes find my builds a bit greebly, but not on your level. I try to reduce it a bit by reducing the colours to a max of 4 per figure not counting eyes or head. You'll probably also hate me for building more than half of my planned Toa with a Metru torso as base.
I don't care so much for uniqueness, I want it to look good and work well, and these arms do neither. Since the Kakama ones will be a team, I don't mind a bit uniformity, though every torso will have some alterations.
The teal one was catapulted back to wip status once the criticism came in. I do have to admit that it is in the very same stage as of now, as I don't know what to do with it atm.

Instead of dealing with Lego being hellbent on only producing it in light bley even where it doesn't fit, I simply buy it in other colours from other brands. The only Lego I buy is off Bricklink and it's mostly old Technic, Bionicle or rare colours. I'm not interested in anything they currently offer.

Maybe in pic rel you can see a bit more how lackluster the arms actually are. To add to that they have bad articulation in the shoulders due to a piece obstructing it.
A part in the upper legs obstructs articulation too, but I'll find a workaround. I'll keep the double knee and find something else with the lower legs.
