Where I live those machines tend to have different prices. I always play on poorer places instead of on overpriced ones and I have a lot of fun catching some stupid bootleg plushies when I have some spare change coins.

It's pretty fun and cool desu. It's more about the experience. It's fun to catch and have your dorky trophy after. I'm not so good as my father used to be though, but my skills are quite okayish

That’s the basic. Aim for the easier plushie, not the one you want. Or if you really want a certain plushie, you need to clear the way through it although I do not recommend it.

It’s all about balance, so try always to focus on the body or the bigger center of it since most of those rigged machines tend to be weak as fuck. Give preference to machines with three claws instead of two. Skip plushies on the edges, try the ones on the center.

If the plush has a cord, clothes, or any shit you can stick your claw, always aim for it. Those are the easiest wins.

TLDR for the autism: Pick your battles wisely.

I don't do it very often, so not really. I did however do it on a whim and spent the extra money we had in our wallets ($4) on a few crane games. There was one smaller booth left with only one plush inside, so we wanted to rescue it for its loneliness. After two attempts we succeeded! It was a satisfying feeling.

I never really see crane machines, I would need to really go out of my way to the seaside towns and even then they are cheap shit like minions. I thought for years I had a set of awesome Digimon plush (didnt win them just bought them fro the funfair workers) but eventually getting them out of storage they are terrible cheap shit.

Fucking love Japanese plush though, rather just buy them but the selection is quite limited. People who resell toreba wins mark them up way too high.

I used to routinely get the bean bag guys out at the, I think it was 50 cent machine, maybe even 25 cent machine, anything more than 50 cents is too much of a gamble for something i don't really care about, but I swore if i ever found that mmpr yellow with the cat ears, I would get it no matter what, fortunately for me, I've never seen it
