What's /toy/'s opinion on the legendary comic book heroes series? Great sculpts, paint and POA but despite the high POA, they're fucking cunts to pose. My jackie estacado will not stand up straight unless he's crab legged.

Any tips for posing this wop asshole?

It was a cool line but they already felt a bit worse QC wise compared to Marvel Legends with the exception of a few figures. Really felt like they focussed on a handful of figures(Dragon, Judge dredd and Death,Marv, Pitt) while a lot of the rest were phoned in. Witchblade being the biggest example. They were apparently made with leftover ML bucks they were working on(which they shared with early Hasbro Marvel Legends; hence the first ML She-Hulk being similar to O'Brian) and they were trying out some new things that didn't entirely work

And yeah, they don't age great. I can kinda recommend dipping him in boiling hot water and repositioning his joints so they hold a standing pose better, but beware none of the joints pop off.

I think it's one of the highest points a 6" line has ever gotten.
Paint apps, sculpt quality, engineering, almost everything was perfect looking, especially for the designs.

I wish i had given more of a shit back then so i could have gotten the pitt and all those figures when they were so damn cheap.

I have Darkness, Madman, Savage Dragon, and Witchblade. All of them still hold up pretty well except for Witchblade, she was pretty bad when she was released but now it's an abysmal example of an action figure. She's Hasbro Marvel Legends Annihilus BAF White Queen level of bad. The old Moore Action Collectibles figures have a better likeness than this spindly piece of shit. But other than her I have no big complaints with the line, but I still regret not getting the Judge Dredd figures when I saw them and not finishing my Pitt BAF. It's still one of the top BAF ever released imo, and such a great representation of the character.

i had a (grand) opportunity to buy the entire 1st wave, $3.98 each, including variants at the local KB Toys. I passed on it because i didnt care about the characters at all. Still dont. If perhaps Witchblade was coom-worthy, i wouldve bought the lot. I find out years later they were worth at least 3x retail MSRP.

After the build a figures, Madman is one of the high points of the toy line. Fun to pose, and the ball jointed hips and articulated hands doesnt look that bad even though on other figures they do. Next is The Darkness, Judge Dredd and Judge Death. Ripclaw was okay to me. The rest of the lines was janky articulation wise and sculpt wise.
