>be me >24 >Massively into transformers as a kid >Grew up with the Unicron trilogy, bayverse and animated plus random episodes from older series re runs >New of G1 through a video tape of that five part story where they have to go to Cybertron with swoop. >For Christmas get the full G1 series remastered box set plus some G1 reissues >G1 reissues were being sold at toys r us for more or less the same price as the mainline stuff >Get skuwarp, power master prime , red alert and tracks >Being a kid I played with them. >Lost all the accessories, messed up the stickers, broke tracks, lost skywarp completely, power master prime was reduced to just the small cab robot and red alert, who was my favourite, ended up missing all his tires, guns, most of his stickers, a cracked wind screen and covers in scratches before I threw him out as a teenager Really regret not taking care of them

>>9051031 When I was a kid I was Sid from toy story. I grew to in the 90s to 00s. All my Beast Wars, Digimon, Power Rangers shit was ruined. I have no idea what happened to all my shitloads of Batmen and Spiderman, I think my mom must have threw them out. I only really have my plush toys which smell like mold, Lego and Crazybones of all things. It really depresses me thinking about all the shit I ruined or lost. Im glad I still have whar survived and the more I think about it the more I appreciate my parents for buying all that shit for me.

>>9051031 So buy em again. You're an adult now, hopefully with a job and money, and can take better care of them this time. Besides, it sounds like you enjoyed the hell out of them, so those toys are probably proudly saluting with their broken arms as they pass on to toy Valhalla.

>given a free UCS Super Star Destroyer back when I was in High School >kind ofin a dark age, also have nowhere to really display it so its on the floor >sell it on craigslist for like $180 feels bad man what the fuck was I thinking. At the least I could have gotten much more, I drove like 30 miles to sell it off too so a chunk of what I got went to gas anyway

>>9051952 This thing to all the lego uninitiated by the way. Had all the minifigs too, just no box

>>9051952 >drove like 30 miles to sell it off too Don't feel too back about that. Sometimes you just live in a dirt poor area. I had to drive no less than 2 hours to find anywhere to sell toys at MSRP.
