For fellow Europeans living under a rock, starting July 1st, every single shipment coming from outside of EU will get hit with VAT + some other fees and of course crazy delays. No more gift, no more low value. Some retailers may start charging VAT upfront (that way, you won't have to pay any other fee) but it seems that they're not ready or maybe they simply don't care.

So, for those of you with paid preorders that won't reach your country before July 1st, how are you going to handle this shit? How much will you have to pay? Will you try to cancel preorders and get your money back?

I just made some calculations. I have 17 paid preorders with Anime-Export (total amount ~2150€) that will ship after July 1st and I'll have to pay an extra ~950€ thanks to this shitty new law and I'm hesitating about what to do.
