That doesn't really fit the example. 4H filled a niche that was long overdue--people on /toy/ as well as various other toy forums I frequented had been wishing for a 1/12 medieval fantasy toyline for a looooong time. There's been more people and more money coming in per campaign, though. And the largest tiers seem to be the covers and the original art pages. I don't know what the cover tiers go for, but I think the actual pages are $1000. They don't even sell out. I think they tend to sell about a dozen.

He seems to do way better with the $100-$200 tiers, and just putting a couple thousands of those tiers out, like the collector box stuffed with a bunch of books and whatnot.

Ethan was actually looking into these for initial designs and even talked about them, but the Vyzpzz are more of an amalgamation of Bees, wasps, and hornets, which is why their design is kind of funky looking and has elements of all three, so trying to argue that the revo looks better is simultaneously dumb, as well as having already been addressed.

Considering his last indiegogos for Cyberfrog were above that range in terms of backers he should be good especially since he attracts the most whales both in quantity and in amount spent

/co/ hates him because his comics suck and were shilled hard, his misinformation and clickbait led to even more clickbait spam, and the comicsgate shit in general made discussion even more unbearable with shilling, clickbait, YouTuber worship, twitter drama, out of context hyperbole, etc being spammed for months
/toy/ doesn't have that problem, if the /toy/ is good it's good
It's not like toygate is gonna be a thing, this place already has its loathed circlejerked YouTubers and they don't even make toys

Based on >>9066775, I think I can safely say even the 500 yen gachapon wasps shit all over his. The legs and wings are not articulated, and there is zero articulation in the thorax nor segmented articulation in the abdomen for curling up stinging poses. In fact, the only point of articulation I can see here is MAYBE the head. So basically, this is a statue, and the only thing it has (debatably) going for it is the edgy sculpt.
