What bugs me about Newage's Devestator is that the end results don't really look that great. Like the core robots are like average to outright bad looking and the combiner is just really plain and boring looking. I guess the vehicles are okay though.
As much shit as Menasor gets for being a big black man with cars strapped onto him, at least basically everyone making one took full advantage of the fact that the robots aren't doing anything and focused on making the individual robots as good as possible, like Fanstoys' Breakdown and Wildrider couldn't have been as good as they are if they actually had to make the shins of a giant robot. Meanwhile with Newage I'm just looking at Hook and Longhaul thinking "these things are barely doing anything in the combiner so why aren't they just perfect robots/vehicles?" at least Mixmaster has an excuse I guess.
