What the fuck Capcom? What happened to finishing up the MHW and Iceborne series? We're moving onto Rise already? Before giving us Ruiner Nergigante, Fatalis and Naked Shara Ishvalda? I have a fucking rock armor form Shara and it will never get paired with the true form? Fucking really?!

If you have the Revoltech or Monsterarts figures, some of the Figure Builder and Super Modeling Soul figures scale pretty well with them. The dromes+prey, jaggi family, qurupeco, ludroth and others go nicely with them.

I'm at the point of needing to taper off my collecting so I don't have plans to get any Monsterarts or revoltech. And by "taper off" I mean buying these rise figs too and hating myself for creating a storage and display nightmare.

i got the Standard Model Plus Vol.1 boxset with clear seregios way back but never brought myself to open them up. i'll dig them up one day

Locking the hexes together would be something I would do if I was actually pleased with my arrangement and display But as you said, some risers would be amazing, and I figure I'll do a more serious job of arranging them at that point. One issue the hexes have is that not every monster fis cleanly within the confines of it's base so then you can't just lock them together in ANY arrangement you want.

Fuck. I bet you got scammed. I got to know this MH fan employee at my local EB games and she was able to 100% accurately guess which monsters were in which box. It has to do with Capcom's internal numbering system and how they pack of the boxes. That's how I got my Deviljho. I was skeptical but it works. I wonder if that convention guy also knew the trick. Could just be bad luck though. That's not THAT unlikely.
