I hope they've understood the market for good, highly articulated figures aimed at collectors. Their 6" Fortnite figures sold like hotcakes for years. They've now started many other super articulated 6"collector lines with AEW, MMA, Halo and now Pokemon. I hope this becomes their cash cow instead of Fortnite since they lost the 6" license for that.

Yeah, just Charizard is a Target exclusive for now. They said him and the rest of the first wave will be available wide later in the year. Probably in August like the European distributor sites say.

Check Ebay. There's been over 20 posted in the last 48 hours. Same with those shiny silver figures. This seems to be hitting in force. A lot of the next 2"/3" Glaceon/Leafeon battle pack wave is showing up there too. Hopefully these figures are going to be more plentiful

Yeah, but they don't need to put Pikachu into almost every Two-pack. In fact the two-packs need to stop as well, same with the clip and go packs. Just release individual figures on tiny cards, like what we got back in the 90s.

Last time I checked Charizard also doesn't have exposed joints, cuts, a segmented neck and tail, etc, all over its body. There are statues and figurines you can buy that don't have cuts, or holes or joints, or articulation, since that seems to be what you're interested in.

That's fair too, we don't always like the same thing forever. For a lot of people I'm sure Pokemon is just nostalgia at this point, not following any of the newer gens. Maybe one day you'll see your ice bird at a store and you'll be able to make the call there and then. Who knows, maybe the figure will bring you back into the franchise.

The Hasbro one was articulated too. At least ball joints at the base of the wings, and swivels at the tops of the legs. It can stand on the ground which I hope this Jazwares one will also be able to do

It was gen 6 for me with the disgusting amount of Kanto pandering on top of an obviously unfinished game, then gen 7 nearly roped me back in with USUM since Alola has a ridiculous variety of Pokemon; good enough to help me brave the literal hours of cutscenes, and then gen 8 happened.
They just didn't try with gen 8.

I honestly feel like my Target gets every other wave skipped. It got nothing from the Pidgeot wave. No Scyther either. The newest arrivals are from the Glaceon/Leafeon wave. I don't feel like I miss them either. At least scraps of any particular wave sticks around for a while as evidence of the store getting it. They same thing happened with the wave with Arcanine too. It seems like fulfilling orders takes so long that they end up skipping to the next wave. It sucks that some of my favorites are in waves fall victim to this.

Not just your Target. Pidgeot wave hasn't been found in the US yet. Scyther has never had pics released or been found anywhere in the world yet. Glaceon/Leafeon wave is the latest to hit Target in force. I think the last wave with Sirfetch'd/Raichu sparsely hit some Target stores but 80% of the ones I saw still had empty shelves. The Arcanine/Pangoro wave only hit Walmart I believe around last December/early this year.

Bros. This Charizard figure is only $20. These new pics are from PokeJungle on Twitter. This is great for the price and yes, I also think the articulation could be done a little better in the legs/hips especially but this is still a great looking and AFFORDABLE figure. This line is completely new sculpts for each figure they're doing and they are only $20. That's a super good deal these days in the toy aisle. The 6" Marvel, Star Wars, GI Joe, and upcoming Hasbro Fortnite figures are all $23 now and those have anywhere from a little to a large amount of parts sharing between figures.

It's the legs. Not looking at the figure directly from the front makes it look better. The yellow stomach should be wider at the bottom where the legs come out and without having both sides where the legs meet that yellow part visible, it looks better.

The Plastic Patroller was the most recent addition, and since then he's been very quiet as he's focusing on Avatar, DC and now '66 Batman. If he does plan on making more there'll probably be 1-2 more this year but I wouldn't be surprised if that's it.

We dont have wallmarts or targets, theres some stores who stock it, and some that may have it online, but this one chain only exists in mega stores and its the one place i dont get ripped off and can find it.

Scale world is static QC varies, but it does have a broaf variety. But a lot are expensive for the small candy toys they are and a lot is p-bandai exclusive wich really sucks.

Jazwares is improving well on their line, the new 6" is definetly theirs and hopefully shifts the way the lineups will be scale wise.

Apology Garchomp would be nice. There are probably a couple others that were done in the 4.5" line that deserve a better scaled articulated version. Arcanine/Scizor to name a few.

Aside from that, Feraligatr, Nidos, Alakazam, Delphox would be nice. I'd want each starter line completed eventually and these line would be about the only place for most of the final stages to go.

If they were both that size? Assuming Charizard fights smart and keeps his distance and continually uses special attacks, and assuming the fire and whatever else is deadly, unlike vs trainers in the show, then Charizard should win. Huh. Guess we'll just have to see what comes out. Heo and other Euro sites had Scyther listed for June and Cinderace/Inteneon for July. With all these waves back to back I'm sure some will be virtually impossible to find in stores. As of now the Pidgeot/Toxtricity wave hasn't been spotted in the US yet and I'm afraid US retail will skip it.

Ordered to pick a Chrarizard at my locale target at 2 mins before they opened, waited 2 hours and got the message that my order couldn't be fulfilled for whatever reason. I ended up ordering it online and its arriving Tuesday shipping to my house *whew*. What's weird is my store said they had 2 in stock when I made the order to pick up, and after they said they couldn't fulfill it, the app STILL said they had 2 Charizards instock. Makes me wonder if employees are trying to do sketchy things....

More than likely. EB in Canada have these $5 Fridays and sometimes have some real solid figures and other things for $5. There was a store that was showing 4 of the AOA Apocalypse when that was $5 and I made the order at some stupid hour like 4am cause they just update the site whenever the fuck they want, and many hours later, they said none in stock. Probably the employees and their friends decided they or people they knew would want them and put them aside until they could buy them. I did recently put in an order at a store nearby and there was no issue. Might just gotta find the store where there aren't collectors, or luck out and hope whoever is working that day isn't interested.

I have friends that still work at my target over a long, long time span, and they've noticed target's shift in direction with how they run the stores is more of a clusterfuck now because their leaders now are not on the same page with each other and everyone wants things done their own way. Also the young'ns they hire here dont give a fuck like past employees, ie. do work with the least amount of effort and complain like bitches, and call offs are more common now with less repercussions. Long story made short: target direction wise and employee wise isnt the same as it used to be.

I worked at Target from 2015-2019 before I got a big boy job and I saw this first hand. They brought in new managers who micromanaged the every living fuck out of you.

The last straw for me was when I was told "for someone who wants to be a teacher someday, you pull your team backwards instead of forward."

I don't understand why these managers think that I would want to stock shelves my entire fucking life and that I should be gracious to do so. Also, everyone's a fucking backstabber.
