Two isn’t a pattern, but the first two volumes had 3 new Digimon each, so maybe...Kinda feel like the fourth Ultimate has to be a bug though, since that’s the only “route” without one. There’s plants and there’s a dino, but nothing really for them. I’d love an Archnemon evo to finish the Kodokugumon line (I’d also have loved them saving Archnemon for a Kodokugumon dim, but oh well)

The Pendulum 20ths are even better than the 20th anniversary ones you got, but they're incredibly expensive now to the point where it's probably not worth it, so unless they come out in English as well then the Xs would definitely be your next step.

Thanks for the input, the pendulum 20th does have an impressive amount of monsters on it, but now way I'm spending that much.

I do like the detailed color sprites on the vital bracelet, and I do walk a lot at work, so I'm considering one of those as well. Are you missing out on much if you don't have another to connect to?

VB is very much one and done.
The Only thing you miss is in-person pvp, and theres no reason to do that anyway.
You do need a phone with NFC to get the most out of it.

Those are all solid choices, and I think it will mainly come down to what you want. The machinedramon kit is solid, a pretty easy build, and looks great as a display piece. The digivolving lines, at least to me anyway, are cool but feel very fragile despite the diecast heft. Those two are my favorites of the group, so I don't think you'd be going wrong with either.

Direct me to anything that interacts with cards, figures, smartphone games of the same franchise. Amiibos are the only thing I can think of. The example above, Pokemon Go, simply catalogs the cards you scan into it. You cant use them in any meaningful way. The VB interacts with DiMs, a smart phone app, NFC devices, and the device itself. Thats already more interaction than anything you posted.

Move your wrist around. Every 50 miles = one vital, and you'll get more if your heart rate's increased since the last time the VB checked (I believe it's every five minutes). I try not to make my rookies battle until they've got around 300 vitals, and even then I only let them battle other rookies. If you've got the VB app, there are items you can buy that will give you 200 vitals and you can also do online battles against opponents who you'll have a type advantage with. Also, if your Digimon's got a cloud floating over their head, don't let them battle. Wait for it to go away. Only battle if they're in a normal mood or if there's a sun over their head.

It can also be used to overwrite and backup dims as well. People use it to input custom sprites.
Another use is that people can put the dim info online. So, those of us who refuse to spend 400$+ on Shadow Fang could technically have it. (I've seen someone use their VS Memory to do just that.)

Actually, really I like that Omegamon is getting a more modern model kit because the Amplified kinda sucks. You can tell it's the old Reboot kit that they barely modified and the Bandai model kit engineering has come a long way since they originally made that one.

I got the DiM File and honestly it's pretty shit. The spine is like 3/4" when it needed to be 1 1/8" to accommodate the size of 5 DiMs stacked on each other when they're in the sleeves, so the covers bulge out. Also the setup of the sleeves for getting the cards in and out is retarded.

I flipped the 2nd and 4th set of cards around so the DiMs are offset from the other sets which lets the covers close properly, but like I said the sleeve setup is retarded, so getting them out and putting them back in is a pain in the ass. The plastic is already bent and dented from trying to get the corners of the cards into the slots. The R&D people on this line have got to be some of the dumbest fucks. My favorite part is the instruction sheet that says "Don't pull too hard on the sleeve, you might damage it", but they designed it so you have to bend and pull it to get the shit in there. I'm surprised none of the sleeves ripped trying to get the cards in.

Most normal people are just going to think of them as a monster.

I think the newest wereolf film I've watched is Late Phases which released in 2014 (though I watched it some years later) but there are always low quality werewolf films every year but there was one that came out last year called Wolf of Snow Hollow which I hear is good.

Keeping DiMs in the file is fine if you don't plan to use it much. I've kept out the card I'm currently using, but I imagine once I finish all the evolutions of each card I won't be using it again much if at all since I can save the ones I want in the app. My biggest gripe is that the stupid thing isn't wide enough for the purpose they made it for, and you just know there's going to be File #2 for the other cards we know of with the same problems.

I switched to a velcro sports watch canvas band with some adapters and being able to adjust the band more minutely has solved my problems with it not counting steps. Although ymmv.

And on the other hand, just to be fair, my partners expensive sports tracker watch also has trouble with biking. Even it has can only track distance and heartrate, it can track the actual biking exercise like it can with running. You'd probably have one to wear as an anklet to track biking right lol.

As someone that jumped in about a year ago via Super Mini-Pla Megazords- considering that you're probably a grown adult and not a 12 year old, you should be able to handle it.
My advice is that you get yourself a craft knife and a hands-free magnifying glass to get the little bits left over after you've snipped the pieces off the tray.
That, and something playing in the background that you don't need to watch, and you'll be set.

I hope it's like that in the end. The lack of toe articulation, extra hands, and a shield that could actually join together were all that prevented me from buying the D-Arts even if it was my favorite version of Wargreymon at the time.
This one seems to be lacking even more articulation but if it's a kit, I guess I can deal with it.

I could use some help, guys. I finally loaded my second DIM chip (Volcanic Beat) and I'm finding it extremely frustrating to raise this little burning bastard. All he does is lose battles, and it takes me between 15 and 20 minutes of running away from random encounters with ultimates and champions until I can face a rookie. When all I had was Pulsemon, I could find other Pulsemons to battle without issue. Worse case scenario is I had to run away three times. Now it's like I have to run away for 20 higher level mons in order to get a fair fight, and then the little pissant just wimps out anyways and loses my vitals progress. Should I erase him and just start over? He's decimating my win record!

Is this how it goes for everyone else after the second or more DIM you install? Is it like pulling teeth to find a fair fight after you've gotten your rank up?

Twitter thread about unbinding DIMs from VBs, not sure if it was posted already.

>Enter factory test mode: turn off the watch, then while pressing both buttons, turn on the watch. Press the bottom button four times.

>When you're on the firmware date screen press the top button to enter software test mode. Don't press the bottom button or you may risk losing your progress.

>Press and hold the bottom button repeatedly to cycle through the tests, until you get to the screen with the X near the DimCard slot.

>Insert the DimCard you want to disassociate. You should see a hex number and numbers or letters beneath that. Press the top button and wait. After another hex number shows up and either OK or (hopefully not) NG, the DimCard is reset and you can remove it. Repeat this step for each card you want to reset. Turn power switch off when you're done.

Quick note, when you do the first step you'll see your version on screen. Apparently there are at least 2 versions, one of which doesn't seem to work properly with this method thus far. While the OP's version 21 0225 does work, humulos commented saying his version which reads 20 1125 did not work and factory reset his VB.

Probably way late to talk about this but I just spent a couple hours getting this big guy together.

An alright build. Not the most satisfying, but that's coming off the back of some HMM Zoids. Some of Machinedramon's parts felt too big that the build was over too quick.

Pros:
Pretty beefy kit, weighing in at exactly 300g when all done.
Good colour separation in the plastic
Couple neat things like the mouth tubes being super soft plastic and the neck and tail having flexible wires fed through them.

Cons
Very front heavy; I'll need to tighten up the toes because currently they just can not support his weight without excess care.

God damn it. Went back to Target today to see the price on those v-pets only to be met with an overabundance of them on the bottom shelf at full $20 price. They even added the pink color, I wasn't expecting three full varieties of the things. Plus I was wrong, it was white instead of glow in the dark but that hardly matters now. I was scouring my local Targets and Gamestops like three weeks ago and didn't find jackshit. Now suddenly the aisles are packed? It's the damndest thing. Even looked at a Pac-Man tamagotchi out of curiosity and it was 5 dollars more expensive. Fuck this, I think I'll just wait for another Amazon sale or something. Maybe head back in a week and see if any have sold.

If you want it quick and dirty you can use a #17 xacto blade to shave off the nub and then scratch it with your fingernail like >>9136033 said.

If you want legitimate tips, I use a metal file and then Tamiya 400-1500 sandpaper. Even doing so won't completely erase the nub mark because the color will be off, only painting can truly get rid of it.

Really? Once watched a video of a guy who filed his pieces to really high grits to prepare them for painting and it looked smooth, too smooth even for the original finish, but that was a Zero Kotobukiya kit so the plastic might be different, not to mention it was mostly bright red and white. Worried about leaving my first kit scratched since I have no intent (or skills) to paint it, would appreciate tips on the Amplified ones.

Scratches are part of the charm. I purposely scratched and slashed my mugendramon to give it a rougher look. Otherwise its just too smooth and plastic looking.

What do you know, my luck turned around a bit. Was busy in a smaller part of town when I saw a Target I hadn't been to yet, so I hopped inside. Lo and behold, glow in the dark for 50% off! Not sure if I'll actually play with this one. On the one hand, I don't care too much for Rasielmon. On the other, it fucking glows in the dark. Either way I'm just happy to have it. 3 v-pets isn't exactly a collection, but it makes me happy. It'll be 4 soon once X releases, maybe 5 if I break down and get the white one too.

As far as I'm concerned, and as far as I can tell from just Machinedramon, yes. Obviously you could make them look better with paint, but I don't think he'd need to bother.

If you can get it, Black, especially if he watched 02 back in the day. Normal will be a lot easier to get than BWG.

Thanks, it feels nice. Don't know if this'll be a slippery slope but I think that, at the most, I'm just going to get my favorite color of each version there is. The white and transparent purple colors look slick as fuck. Not particularly digimon related, but I've seen so many damn Pac-Man tamagotchis on my searching and it's started to tempt me.

I was gonna recommend SureThingToys, where I got mine, but they've bumped things up a dollar or two since I last checked. Still, they have volume 3 for 45 bucks, free shipping, which I guess isn't that horrible.
Customer support is kinda shit and they still haven't sent me my volume 1, but they came through on the other 2 so eh.
