>>9110736Hasbro's decision to both kill off Battle Beasts and seperate it from Transformers will always leave me scratching my head in confusion. Takara had the right idea when they released these guys as beastformers. I'll never understand the logic behind distancing Battle Beasts from an already successful monolith of a brand only to later kill it and sell off its remains.
That aside I've always been surprised at how nobody few toy companies have picked up the battle beasts torch and continued where they left off. Anthro warrior animals are a pretty universal evergreen concept, and yet I've only seen three companies in recent memory try and reignite that fire. Takara, DST, and based Diramix. It's a crime Megantik never made it beyond Europe, because it was perfectly positioned to over take/surpass battle beast's past success. Likewise the angular caricatured designs really made the line seem fresh and new.
