>>9119428>What's the best raimi spiderman fig?>>9121051>Is there actually some truth to this? I don't really trust /tv/'s memeing assConsider the following:
Assuming that Spiderverse didn't win an Oscar proving that multiverse movies were viable, let's say /tv/ is 100% lying (they're not, but let's say they are).
X-Men, with no movie, got a non-BaF half-wave put out for their 20th anniversary. I feel like I missed someone in pic related but it doesn't matter. From the foX-men movie franchise, we got 2 2-packs and 3 single figures (1 exclusive):
>Jacket, tank top, and old-man suit Jackman wolverines>magneto with mckellen and fassbender heads>prof x with stewart and mcavoy heads>OG romijn mystiqueWe also got around the same time a side release of Deadpool movie figures 1 2-pack and 3 single figures (2 exclusive):
>red suit deadpool>white suit deadpool>brolin cable>beetz domino>hildebrand negasonic teenage warhead (surprisingly, only her 2nd movie head option)There was no X-Men movie. But we got all that for the 20th anniversary. Now, there are some notable missing characters, but they did manage to hit most of the really iconic actor roles.
Now, consider this. Raimi's spiderman hits its 20th anniversary next year. Spiderman gets a new movie at X-mas this year. EVEN if we don't get a BaF MCU movie wave or single release movie figure (somehow) that includes at bare minimum Holland's new suit, we can at least expect, based roughly on the two pack math of the fox-men, 2 single figures (1 exclusive) and 1 two-pack. Safe bets are:
>20th Anniversary maguire Spiderman>Dunst Mary Jane>Molina Doc Ock (he's confirmed in the MCU spiderman movie so he might get a toy in the Baf wave instead)>Dafoe Green GoblinThanks to the wolverine/prof x 2-pack and the deadpool stuff, we can also assume that for the 20th anniversary, we could get a bonus:
>garfield spiderman>stone Gwen StaceyMAYBE simmons Jameson somewhere because he's in all three franchises.
