Has anyone had experience with Sozai Kun or Sozai Chan from Hobby Base? I wanna use a Kun for a custom figure but I wanna know if he's good quality and won't break on me while posing.

I know Hobby Base sells special 'Link' joint sets that allow you to connect limbs from robot models and other figures, but I think that might be as far as you get unless you wanna drill holes. I'll check once I get him in hand.

Usually. The figures need to use 3mm peg holes for the joints to swap, also Sozai bodies (male and female) use sphere joints while some like Figma and Figuarts use slim joints. It's a case by case thing, but generally figma/revoltech/figuarts usually will work with these. No experience myself with other lines, so YMMV.

I've done a custom with the pic related figma. An aliexpress version but the quality was great.
